So after 2 years I finally have something to blog about!  The kids and I took a short (way too short) trip to Venice.  It was more beautiful than I had hoped!  M. had a blast feeding the pigeons in San Marco Piazza.  We toured the Palazzo Ducale and wandered the streets- which would have been better if we had had more time to browse all the shops, etc., but that's a story for another time   Hopefully it won't take another 2 years to blog again!  Over the next few weeks I will (hopefully) get everyone updated on the move and all the other neat things we've been doing and seen since arriving in Germany.  Now I will attempt to upload some pictures from the trip - keep your fingers crossed!
